There’s no coding involved, no confusing migration period- just a simple quick change. Anyone can do it, once they know how. 

So without further ado, here’s how to customise your LinkedIn URL in a few easy steps: 

  •  Go to the top of your LinkedIn homepage and click on the ‘Me icon. From there, you should see a drop-down menu. Choose ‘View profile‘.
  • Go to the top of the page and click the button that says ‘Edit public profile & URL‘. This will then open up a new tab in your browser.
  • Under the ‘Edit URL‘ tab, click the ‘pencil’ icon next to your current URL. You’ll then be able to edit the link.

There you have it, you can make your URL as unique as you are. That is, if it isn’t already taken by somebody else. But once you’ve found one, it’s yours to keep.
