Congratulations! Your company has purchased a corporate Sales Navigator account for you on LinkedIn. However, now you are in a bit of a pickle. You need to transfer your current Sales Navigator account over to the corporate account. There is no need to panic because this can be done in two simple ways: through a self-service transfer or a manual transfer.
Using self-service to transfer your Sales Navigator account to a corporate account
- First, you will need to choose the corporate account to proceed.
- When prompted, click ‘Yes, transfer my data.’
- Review the transfer details.
- If you agree, click ‘I agree and accept Data Transfer agreement.
- Click ‘Transfer all data.’
Once the transfer is complete, you will be sent a confirmation message. This type of transfer can only be completed if you have a Professional or Team Sales Navigator account and you are moving to a corporate Team or Enterprise account. If you would rather complete a manual transfer then you will need to contact LinkedIn via email.
In the subject line of the email make sure to include the name of the company you work for and ‘License Transfer Request.’ So, for example, ‘Maverrik – Licence Transfer Request.’ Within the body of the email explain that your company has purchased a corporate Sales Navigator Licence for you and that you would like to transfer the data from your personal account to this one. Example:
‘My company, [insert company name], has purchased a corporate Sales Navigator Licence for me and I would like to transfer the data saved on my personal Sales Navigator account to the corporate Sales Navigator license. I also want to cancel my personal Sales Navigator account. My authorized company representative who can countersign the form is [insert name].’
Linkedin will then send the Transfer Request Form via DocuSign. Make sure to copy in the person who will be acting as a representative for the company as they will then need to sign it before the transfer can commence.
No matter how you complete the transfer from your Sales Navigator account to your corporate account, it will take between 24-48 hours. Not everything will be moved over during the transfer so here is what you need to know about what you keep and what you may need to make an external note of.
Data that is transferred:
- Saved leads
- Saved accounts
- Personal customer lists
- Saved searches
- Inbox, (including sent and received InMail messages)
- InMail credits
- Smart links
- User preferences for sales and email
- Profile unlock credits
- SSI score
- Notes
Data that is NOT transferred:

- Admit insights and branding
