There’s no disputing that LinkedIn plays host to a whole range of features that can serve your business and employment-oriented needs. 

The platform is built on allowing professional networking and career development. The introduction of the Teamlink Groups feature further emphasises this but just what is LinkedIn Teamlink Groups?

TeamLink allows for an easy way to make those initial introductions to your prospects by using your entire team’s network. 

TeamLink identifys Sales Navigator license holders on your team account who are 1st-degree connections to a prospect, even if you’re not connected to your teammate on LinkedIn.

Things to Keep in Mind 

When you activate the Teamlink Groups feature it’s important to note that this is only available to Team and Enterprise offline contracts. Dashboards can only be a part of one TeamLink Group.

Your TeamLink Groups cannot be self-activated and must be activated by LSS Support and for the TeamLink Groups themselves, the individuals representing each company and signing the Data Sharing Agreement should acknowledge that they are authorised to do so.

TeamLink Groups, or cross-contact TeamLink, expands TeamLink by introducing the ability to connect multiple Sales Navigator contracts or multiple dashboards under one or more contracts.

It’s able to connect multiple dashboards, meaning you’re able to expand the pool of quality leads and warm introduction paths beyond your team contract or dashboard. This allows you to include multiple contracts, which may represent additional regions, subsidiaries, or functions of your organisation.

It all starts with contacting the LinkedIn support team and requesting to have TeamLink Groups activated for your account.

A support representative will then reach out to you within 48-72 hours to confirm your request. You may be provided with additional documentation that will need to be filled out to process the request so it’s a good idea to have these on hand, to speed up the process.

All associated contract owners will also need to sign a new data-sharing agreement form when adding any new contracts to the Group.

You then need to send your completed forms back to the support team and TeamLink Groups will be initiated within 48-72 hours and then you’re all set!

It’s a great tool to use and can prove hugely beneficial when it comes to connection making and building your network.
